Madea’s Big Happy Family is yet another supreme production from Tyler Perry’s franchise, which will make you laugh as well as bring tears to your eyes. The film is an adaptation of a play written by Tyler and marks the 11th film of his production house. The plot of the film revolves around the various members of Madea’s family. The story is replete with not just hilarious moments that will have you doubling over with laughter, but also nostalgic ones, which will make you brood over the harsh realities of life.
Of these, one that offers the most soul-stirring drama is that of the diagnosis of Shirley’s cancer, and the effect that it has on her and her loved ones. Along with that, the movie also offers a wholesome chunk of relationship drama, as it lays focus on various relationships, including that between Byron & Rose, Tammy & Harold, and finally, Jason & Kimberly. The closing scene where Madea gives each of them a piece of advice, as they all deal with the void that’s been caused by Shirley’s death, is definitely the show stealer, which makes it every bit worth it to download Madea’s Big Happy Family.
